Top Smartwatch Blogs
1. Wareable
The name of our top smartwatch blog features a great pun which was enough to elevate it to our top spot. (Here at the Blog Review we can’t get enough puns…). News, reviews and general gossip – this smartwatch blog covers it all. We particularly liked the fact that the reviewers spend serious time getting to know each watch, and sometimes even return to a previous review to give it an update. The site doesn’t just stop at smartwatches either – all wearable tech is covered including fitness bands and VR.
2. WatchTime
WatchTime has been running since the 1990s, and whilst it’s not 100% dedicated to smartwatches (like some of the other top smartwatch blogs in our list) it does claim to be America’s No. 1 Watch magazine… The link above leads directly to their selection of smartwatch-flavoured posts, which are unsurprisingly detailed and full of juicy tech gossip. The actual magazine itself is cheekily based on another well-known magazine with ‘Time’ in the title, but they seem to be getting away with it!
3. A Blog to Watch
Hands down the most popular watch site on the web, A Blog To Watch covers all manner of wrist accessories but they feature some top-drawer writing and reviewing of the smartwatches they cover. Often featuring video reviews of the products, each post is lovingly illustrated with great photos and information. They also have some interesting feature articles, upcoming gossip and coverage of the major watch events! (Who knew there were watch events?? We do now!)
4. Smartwatch Info
Sadly this blog hasn’t been updated in the last year or so, but here’s hoping it picks up again because it was a great source of news and reviews about smartwatches. The site covers a range of watch brands and also helpfully features buying guides for a wide range of price points. Some articles were also regularly updated to show the latest smartwatch deals and best offers available in store. Smartwatch Info is also 100% focussed on smartwatches, making it something of a rarity on the web.
5. First Class Watches
First Class Watches is an online portal which specialises in selling watches, but they also have a reasonable blog section which you’ll find if you click the link above. Running since 2004, their blog features giveaways, fashion advice, news, video reviews and more and hence is well worth a look. They work with over 100 brands, and as many of the major watch manufacturers like Michael Kors and Tag Heuer are now making smartwatches, this is one of the smartwatch blogs worth reading.
